Selection Notes for B2B Projects
Control ObjectPlan the product by lighting circuit, pump, fan, cabinet output or equipment switching object instead of only by channel count.
Protocol and PlatformCheck whether the project needs RS485, Ethernet, LTE(4G), MQTT, Modbus, grouped control, schedules, logs or private platform deployment.
Circuit PlanningSeparate high-power, inductive and frequently switched loads into clear circuits and match controller selection with the cabinet design.
Integration and Deployment
Circuit ObjectsMap each output to a named lighting, pump, fan, valve, cabinet or equipment circuit and retain a clear control boundary.
Local OperationUse dry-contact inputs, wall panels, schedules or supported local rules for field operation when the selected model provides them.
Network OperationsUse the communication interfaces of the selected model for status, remote control, action records and multi-site management.
Electrical CoordinationCoordinate relay loads, contactors, protection, cabinet wiring and manual override with the electrical design.
Protocol and Lighting Strategy Notes
Relay controller projects can be combined with DMX512 lighting control, sunrise and sunset schedules, Modbus integration, MQTT access, platform management and operation logs.
Supported models and firmware can map a remote input, sensor or business event to controller outputs at another site for one-to-one or one-to-many linkage. Applications include water towers and pumps, parking counts, warehouse alarms, irrigation and chain-store equipment.
Select a Q-series configuration by circuit count, load type and site network. Compare 4G models for cellular access and the high-power range for higher-load circuit control.
Select RC/R configurations for high-power switching by actual load and circuit layout. Match circuit scale, communications and local operation separately rather than treating a series name as a load rating.
The QL series provides multi-circuit remote switching over 4G. Select a model by circuit scale; use the relevant ranges for latching outputs or single-circuit energy monitoring.
Dry-contact output for 220V circuits; relay capacity depends on the selected model

Product integration and applications
01
Select Q models by actual output points
The Q family groups lighting and auxiliary equipment circuits in one controller. Select the model from the actual circuit count and cabinet layout, and keep channel names aligned with field labels. ZMRN0430-Q30 has four outputs and four inputs; its Q30 suffix does not mean 30 output channels. Supply, input capability and relay specifications remain model-specific.

02
Relate commands to field feedback
An addressed RS485 Modbus RTU connection lets a PLC, HMI or gateway operate the controller. Map area, cabinet, channel and load names before defining operating or maintenance scenes. A relay channel state describes the output command. Auxiliary contacts, digital inputs or a separate current module can provide additional evidence that the connected equipment is operating.
03
Cabinet layout and phased expansion
Divide cabinets by floor, zone or equipment group and aggregate them through the site bus and supervisory system. Allow space for terminals, cable routes and spare circuits. Consistent electrical drawings, field labels and platform names simplify maintenance. A project can start with one cabinet and extend the same channel model and operating policies to additional zones.

Selection questions
Does Q30 mean 30 channels?
No. ZMRN0430-Q30 provides four independent outputs and four inputs. Select by the complete model and actual IO count.
Why add acquisition to a switching project?
The controller executes switching commands. Additional acquisition provides operating contacts, faults or current data for a clearer field-state view.
Selection FAQ
What lighting or control projects are suitable? These relay controllers are used for smart lighting, control cabinets, equipment switching, parks, streets, campuses, hospitals, cinemas and exhibition halls.
How should relay channels be selected?Channel count should follow the number of lighting circuits, equipment groups, cabinet layout and expansion margin.
Can the controller support remote operation?Depending on the model, RS485, Ethernet, 4G, MQTT, TCP, UDP or platform access can support remote control and status viewing.
Controller, bus and platform roles
Model-specific interfaces
Select 4G, Ethernet or RS485 by model. RS485 slaves use a networked host or gateway for platform access.
Circuit planning
Select IO count, load characteristics, terminal space and maintenance groups using the specific model drawings.
