Product overview
A gateway aggregates branch data and commands while individual circuit devices provide their configured measurement and switching functions. The platform organizes groups, events and permissions.
Functions and integration
Gateway aggregation
Connect multiple branches through the matching gateway.
Pole selection
Select 1P/2P and 3P/4P configurations according to the single-phase or three-phase circuit design.
Operations
Use states, schedules and events with authorization and field maintenance controls.
Configuration options
Gateway Ethernet, RS485 and optional Wi-Fi/4G vary by configuration. Residual-current functions are options for relevant 2P/4P devices, not universal features.
Applications and operating workflow
Dormitories
Organize branch status, energy data and authorized operation by room.
Commercial panels
Build circuit records by tenant, zone or equipment.

Selection and system combinations
Plan branch distribution monitoring and remote disconnection around circuits, gateways and management requirements. Compare metering terminals for measurement-only tasks and relay controllers for equipment power switching.
Select metering by three-phase wiring and direct or current-transformer input. Branch accounting and power-quality diagnosis are different data objectives with multi-circuit acquisition and power terminals.
QC8 provides multi-circuit high-power latching switching. Select by actual loads and circuits; brightness adjustment and energy measurements still require the corresponding dimming and metering devices.
A communication gateway and multiple breaker branches form a centralized circuit register. Name branches by floor, area or equipment purpose; the gateway provides system communication and the platform organizes state, switching, schedules and event records. The arrangement supports starting with one panel and extending to further zones as the management scope grows.
02
Select poles for single-phase and three-phase circuits
1P, 2P, 3P and 4P configurations serve different supply circuits, selected by phase arrangement, neutral treatment and the distribution design. Residual-current functionality is configuration-dependent on 2P and 4P models. Record each branch purpose, pole configuration, wiring and gateway relationship so the product schedule, drawings and platform objects remain aligned.

Relate circuit operations to site schedules
Stores, dormitories, equipment rooms and public areas can align circuit operation with their working periods and review changes through event records. Access assignments determine available platform actions, while the zone register identifies each branch for field staff. Select gateway Ethernet, RS485 or optional connectivity to fit the network and distribution arrangement.

Selection questions
Why should branches and gateways be planned together?
Branches provide the configured circuit functions and the gateway aggregates communication for the supervisory system. Mapping them by panel and zone supports identification, groups and maintenance.
How can a site without fixed broadband be connected?
Select a gateway configuration with 4G for the project. Wi-Fi and 4G are optional connectivity choices; a site with a LAN can use the corresponding Ethernet configuration.
Frequently asked questions
Do all pole configurations have identical protection?
No. Select functions by the specific pole count and configuration.
Does remote switching replace maintenance isolation?
No. Field isolation and electrical protection remain part of the independent distribution design.
