Product overview

ZMRN1016S3-V5 consolidates cabinet inputs and relay circuits for networked equipment operation and status management.

Functions and integration

Relay contacts

NC, COM and NO terminals support normally closed or open control circuits; contacts do not provide load power.

Inputs

Eight inputs connect compatible field signals for monitoring and control logic.

Output modes

Switch, pulse, interlock and toggle modes cover different operating behaviors.

Management

Mobile, Web and PC tools provide naming and schedules; RS485 access follows its device protocol.

Applications and operating workflow

Cabinets

Centralize equipment switching and field input states.

Lighting and auxiliaries

Name channels by load and combine weekly schedules with local operation.

Selection and system combinations

Select by channels and operating modes when Ethernet control and input status are required together. Compare dedicated input modules for many contacts and Q-series controllers for other output scales.

Product integration and applications

01

Build a circuit register around eight inputs and outputs

Eight relay outputs and eight inputs consolidate circuit commands and field states in one cabinet. Map channels to lighting, contactor coils, equipment commands and feedback. Align custom device and channel names with cabinet labels for operation, schedules and maintenance. Allow for insulated mounting, terminal access and Ethernet routing, with the DC12V controller supply planned separately from load power.

Use NC, COM and NO for the required contact relationship

Each relay exposes normally closed, common and normally open contacts. Use COM with NO or NC according to the circuit function; the load receives power from its own supply. Inputs accept compatible buttons or feedback. Linking each output purpose to the associated input state helps distinguish the command, relay state and external equipment response in centralized operation.

Match output behavior and weekly schedules to the task

Maintained switching suits continuous ON/OFF, pulse suits a short start or reset, toggle suits a single-button change, and interlock supports grouped selections. Assign modes by channel purpose and combine them with weekday and time arrangements. Consistent device names and channel lists across mobile, Web and PC access support shift-based operation and temporary changes alongside recurring schedules.

Selection questions

How should a cabinet allow for board wiring and maintenance?

Plan routes for DC12V power, Ethernet, relay terminals and input terminals, with reliable mounting and insulation. Preserve access for cable connection and terminal work.

How can commands be distinguished from equipment feedback?

The output represents a switching request or relay state. An associated input can carry equipment feedback, linked through the channel names and circuit register for operating review.

Frequently asked questions

Do contacts power the load?

No. Design load power separately from the relay switching contacts.

Can QC8 ratings be applied?

No. These are different products with separate electrical specifications.
